As a Brussels-based social affairs organisation it is a recognised sectoral social partner on the EU level and consultation body of the European Institutions and other stakeholders.

The European Federation of Managerial Staff in the Chemical and Allied Industries (FECCIA) is the lead industrial relations organisation for managers and executives in the chemical sector on the European level.
